Team Building fast-tracks the team towards sustained high performance, putting measures in place to ensure continuous team development. Participants will advance their self-awareness through personality profiling and discover which behaviours lead to a constructive approach to problem-solving and decision making.

This three-part workshop allows teams to diagnose what needs to happen to achieve desired growth, building a collaborative working environment with engaged and productive members.

Developing a High Performing Team

Establish the foundations for effective teamwork by:

  • Defining what it means to be a high performing team
  • Understanding the critical components of a highly effective team
  • Agreeing on draft team norms (i.e. how the team will work together to innovate, solve problems and achieve goals)
  • Diagnosing the team's current stage of development.

Part 2

Understanding Preferred Work Styles

Build effective teamwork by:

  • Exploring each team member's preferred work style and learning how people with different work styles solve problems, make decisions and engage with others
  • Helping the team to leverage different work styles to complement each other
  • Sharing the best approaches to work with each style and build trust in the team.

Part 3

Building a Constructive Team

Consolidate the team's effectiveness by:

  • Reviewing the importance of trust
  • Exploring synergy and why it is critical to the team's success
  • Assessing constructive team behaviours
  • Analysing how constructive the team currently is by evaluating a recent meeting and creating actions for improvement.
