The challenge

RSL LifeCare needed to build leadership capability across more than 180 regional, frontline and emerging leaders working at over 50 sites across NSW. Many leaders had progressed from technical roles without formal leadership development, while long shifts, varied experience and a major organisational change agenda required a flexible, highly tailored approach.

Our approach

Objective Leader delivered a tailored leadership program combining cohort-specific development with remote one-to-one coaching. The design accommodated different leadership levels, work contexts and development needs, enabling leaders to apply learning directly while working across dispersed regional and rural teams.

The outcome

Behaviour data collected at the start of the program and again after 12 months showed improvement across all three focus areas, with reported increases of +27 in Customer, +23 in People and +31 in Growth. The measures covered stakeholder communication, team cohesion and strategic contribution, and accountability for growth, standards and quality.
